Visit our website www.LRCOutdoors.com and hit the “Join Us” button. Fill in the form and follow the instructions to set up the Direct Debit for the annual membership subscription

How do I manage the annual membership subscription?
Membership is rolling and will automatically renew in late January each year
Should you wish to cancel your membership subscription at any point, please contact MembersSec@LRCOutdoors.com
What does the annual membership subscription pay for?
The club’s organisation of the climbing trips, social events and the behind the scenes costs like website, email accounts
You automatically become a member of BMC too. BMC club membership benefits are listed on our website (over 50% of annual membership subscription goes straight to BMC)
I am already a member of another BMC affiliated club, can I join the London Rock Climbers Outdoors club?
Yes! Should you wish to be a member of multiple BMC affiliated clubs, you can claim back the BMC fee that each club pays to BMC on your behalf. The BMC adult club membership fee is £29.33 for the year, as of 2025.
You will need to claim this back from the BMC yourself. Talk to the club’s Members Secretary or email MembersSec@LRCOutdoors.com if you need some advice
When do I get my BMC membership card and Summit magazine?
BMC sends out their postage to club members in quarterly batches and generally we need to get details to BMC over a month before their postage.
Please note that the BMC membership card might need to be torn off a paper letter or leaflet that comes in the post! You can then access a virtually generated version of your membership card via the BMC website: https://www.thebmc.co.uk/
Club members who upgrade to individual annual membership can do so at a reduced cost. This entitles the individual to 4 physical copies of Summit magazine, Personal Accident insurance and goes further to supporting the BMC’s access and conservation efforts.
